Bong Mines

The trip to Bong Mines was a great one.

This used to be a massive iron ore mine...

There is now some great cliff jumping into the
calm waters of the open pit mine.

And the ride home was eventful and full of posers.















This billboard was almost too much to take. There are so many things wrong with it and on so many levels. (For long time readers of the blog you may recognize this from an earlier post. It's so incredible that i had to post it again.)






There is a silver lining on this cloud...or just the sun that will burn you, depending on how you see the world.













I heard that there is a train going to Bong Mines
that you can put your vehicle onto. I will hopefully
make it up there with some friends and bring an
inflatable kayak for kicks and giggles.
